My rough draft of GANI & SEAN is done. I just finished it. Now for the hard work — the editing. Reading and re-reading. To make this process easier, I usually order a proof copy of the book, use pencil to mark the whole manuscript.
Briefly got bogged down but — as usual — as I pushed through it and kept writing, the bog seemed to break up and move away, carried along by the force of moving waters. Just wrote my 46,206th word on my new novel-in-process, GANI & SEAN.
I’ve finished Chapter 32 The Office in GANI & SEAN, my new novel-in-process. I’ve written 38,002 words.
I just wrote my 33,847th word in my latest novel, GANI & SEAN. I’m in Chapter 28 The Promotion in which Kris — the drug kingpin — takes matters into his own strong hands.
This morning, used “Start speaking” feature in Apple Pages to listen to a robotic male voice read the last few chapters of GANI & SEAN to me. Listening to “someone” else read your work can be helpful in determining quality of the writing — how well it flows, how true ( or false ) it sounds.
GANI & SEAN is coming along well, I think.
And yes! I’m still have loads of fun!
